| Our
trainers will deliver a mixture of training methods relative
to the individual, which will take you that step closer
to your goals. These methods are: |
|
| Flexibility
Training |
| Without
regular stretching, there is a tendency for muscles to lose
their flexibility so that when called upon to perform an
extreme movement, as in dynamic sports or in an emergency,
they are less able to extend to their full range of movement,
resulting in damage to the muscle tissue. It is probably
the most often overlooked or neglected component of physical
fitness. It often becomes a concern for the average person
only after the joints stiffen and the muscles shorten from
disuse, injury or disease. |
|
| Aerobic
Training |
| Aerobic
training like running, skipping etc can improve the functions
of the heart therefore decreased risk of heart disease.
It can decrease insulin resistance and improve glucose tolerance
which would be beneficial for treatment and prevention of
diabetes and it is also good for dealing with depression
and anxiety. |
|
| Resistance
Training |
| Resistance
training is very important in the aid of weight loss and
is underused especially by the female population. Muscles
are our fat burning machines and with the production of
them the metabolic rate is increased therefore a higher
rate of burning calories and fat can be achieved. Along
with weight loss, resistance training also increases bone
density, physical strength, posture and immune function
to name a few. |
|
| Core
Training |
| To
put it simply the core is what is left if you take your
arms and legs away from the body. Its purpose is to support
the forces that your legs and arms undergo so that the muscles
and joints can perform at their optimum. Training the core
is important to all and especially so for pre and post natal
mothers. |
|
| Specialty
Training |
| Whether
you are training for a specific sport or just an older adult
with special considerations we have got someone who will
be able to satisfy your training needs. |
|
| Nutritional
Advice |
| Nutrition
is the most important part of training and more so in terms
of ones well being. Understanding what and when to eat is
going to mean the difference between someone trying to lose
weight or someone wanting to put quality muscle on. Our
trainers will be able to advise on the wrongs and rights
of healthy eating so that the body can perform at its optimum
when the time calls for it. |
